To secure the rate Audi asked for 1k depsit which was non refundable (basically to secure the slot) which would come off the 6 upfront when it came round if you haven't paid this I would phone whoever you spoken with (if it was my contact or another) and get them to clarify your position as I fear if you haven't paid the 1k build slot you may not have a car secured....just a heads up.
I paid refundable deposit to secure the deal and car. They going to refund it before delivery. Upfront payments will go out by direct debit to Audi Finance.

Yes, well in a low interest rate environment the opportunity cost is minimal.

I've never seen anyone post up about such offers here (hot hatches or S8's but family utilitarian 7 seats nada...)

Yes pretty much the same deal...although the £1k deposit is only refundable if you pay the 6+ deposit (just the waynthey structure it) if you pull out for any reason you loose the £1k.

Alright chaps, second attempt at "getting" leasing in this thread!

The other half is needing a new car as we're expecting a wee one in January so her Fiesta is not ideal. She originally wanted a soft roader but seems to have gone off the idea recently. She is fairly keen on a Focus.

I've found a few TDCi Focus ST-2 last deals for around £180ish a month but £1900ish up front. Seems better than buying one and keeping it for a couple of years, particularly if the finance rate was unfavourable, but without the value risk/hassle at the end.

Are there any other kind of fun daily drivers that cost about the same? Nothing I've seen comes close.

I can do that payment without any doc fee, choice of Iridium or Palladium Silver and Obsidian Black in stock. Lovely looking cars, I'm thinking of ordering one next month after I've picked up my C250 smile
you have mail - if not received jon at lockyers.co.uk
Just a heads up to all. The above deal had a £500 brokerage fee and a further £250 from the "leasing company". PHer fast bug got rid of both of these as he works for Mercedes and can sell direct. big thumbs up from me after he saved me £750 on the up front costs

Yeah I agree hopefully some of the badge snob VAG fanboys will take note smashyes

For anyone wanting a breakdown (inc VAT):
Deposit: £2400
Monthly Payments 23x£140.99 = £3242.77
Total amount paid over 24months = £5642.77

£5642.77/24months = An all in all spend of £235.11 per month

Been considering this for the Mrs

http://www.jetvehiclefinance.co.uk/Search/ViewVehi...

£1125 down and 24 x £136 monthly 10000 miles per annum

Didn't think it was a bad price for a mum mobile
We are seriously considering a Mokka to replace the Q3. I was genuinely surprised at how nice they are inside, the seats in the SE are brilliant.
I really wouldn't go from a Q3 to a Mokka. And I don't even particularly like Audis.
Why not? How much time have you spent with a Q3?

Possibly a moot point anyway as it looks like we're going for a Kuga!
Only done a few hundred miles in my sister-in-law's. Enjoy the Kuga, however.
Strangely enough, I had to hire a 'small SUV' last Friday and ended up with a Mokka. I took it up to Scotland and back, 400 miles. At first, it seems comfortable with the nice soft leather, but I was aching all over after the 3 hour outward journey. It had a few nice toys like heated seats and heated steering wheel, but everything else was pretty poor.

I still think it's an ok deal at £5k over two years for the auto SE, but I'm glad we didn't go for one.

We've gone for the Kuga Titanium X Sport - should be with us in September thumbup

Lol i am fully aware hense the reason I made the comment rongagin, VAG use that 184bhp oil burner with many of their marques whether it be the more prestigious Audi or Skoda, so if you're looking for a A4 2.0 TDI but cant stretch the budget then this could be the deal for you.

The irony of this is that I myself am one of those badge snobs nevertheless you cant deny this isnt a bad dealsmile

Also doing VRS estate with DSG for a little more:

Initial Payment: £2000 exc VAT (£2400 inc VAT)
23x£197.74 per month
8000miles per year
£150 doc fee (exc vat)
Solid Paint Only

http://www.gateway2lease.com/z_skoda_octaviaestate...

= £7127.93 over the 2 years, £1305 more than a manual hatch.
