Does anybody know of any companies that will do a personal lease without business miles?
Potentially looking to get something leased, but keep stumbling on offers that are business use only.
Thanks.

No chance due to high demand at the moment, they are currently more expensive than the BMW 3 and A4. I expect when the new BMW + Audi are out next year the pricing will reduce.theboss said:

Keen on these prices

Agreed about the isolation, but the additional weight means these engines even more prone to be hunting up and down the 'box in the bigger cars. Most undignified
It seems most autos these day have about 9 ratios, even in the bigger engined cars for economy, so you'll get constant shifting whatever.sidekickdmr said:

Apologies I abbreviated as they are a widely quoted broker on here - http://www.centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk/Keen on these prices
The named contact for the email is scott@centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk tel 01952 222552
No connection other than that I leased a Golf R through them and continue to get promo emails.

They've got Tiguan's with a headline price of £89.99/mth - of course there's a chunky upfront cost and VAT etc, but it's still only £210/mth all in.
However I can't get any sense out of them. I'm finding that's common with leasing companies - no idea how any of them do business. It feels like you're supposed to throw money at them and hope for the best.
Zetec-S black edition
Just over £4000 for two years.

It did seem at one point as though we were hoping for the best - when VW were leaving customers' cars on a dockside for 3 months at a time - but that was an issue with VWUK and no fault of the broker.
I'm not sure how they work with other suppliers - but I think the BMW deals are 'fronted' for BMWFS in the same manner.

Has anyone seen any 435d (xdrive?) or 335d deals on at the minute?
I drove a 640D coupe bmw the other day and while its an amazing car its just out of price range for a pcp (given i do 22k miles)
Offered £560 a month with £6k down over 4 years for a second hand car which is ridiculous
Long story short, i need that engine.
I believe its the same in the 435d and 335d?
Any help would be greatly apreciated..especially for any sneaky 640 deals if there are any.
(spec would be 24/36 months, 22k miles)
Cheers

I've seen some other personal leases, but on inspection they have required business miles.

So take the 335d, all in for two years motoring it'll cost you £9,130 inc VAT + any broker fees for 10k over the two years.
Providing you had the cash to buy new, what would you do?
The same car can be bought new for £31k, after two years, would that car be worth less than 22k? I don't think it will even with double the mileage of the lease offering.
With the added flexibility of owning the car come the end of the two year period and higher mileage allowance, I think I would rather buy outright compared to the lease deal above.
With all these ''perceived' crazy low lease deals about, I think it's easy to forget the option of an outright purchase. If the lease deal is low, there will be a good chance you can buy the same car very keenly.
I'm not anti leasing and it is true that leasing can sometimes work out financially better than an outright purchase. However I would say the evidence of which is few and far between on your nicer cars. Everyone wants a £80k motor at £300 per month all in, that's why this thread will last forever!

That could well be the case Tonker re PX price, which is a good consideration as selling privately will in effect leave you in the same position as you would be at the end of a lease I.e no car. I was thinking of resale value on the open market in which case you will get more and are free to shop around without having to jump into another lease deal for a car you may not really be interested in.

I'm not sure its reasonable to compare a lease hand-back with what might be an optimistic private sale - personally I don't have any time and inclination to deal with buying members of the public especially when it involves handing over £20k+I was thinking of resale value on the open market in which case you will get more and are free to shop around without having to jump into another lease deal for a car you may not really be interested in.
On the other hand a dealer trade-in will involve your pants ending up firmly around your ankles.
I'm surprised to see the discounts available on the F30/31 as its just facelifted - particularly when after discounts the 335d is only £2.5k more than a 320d auto! This does put the lease prices into perspective.
There's also the consideration of equivalent finance cost - removing the 'if you were a cash buyer' statement - and comparing to a PCP type deal then I suspect the lease is cheaper.
Each to their own though - with the big discounts on offer - I'd probably rather buy for the benefit of personalising the spec and keeping it for a longer period.

If they are serious about taking business from the big three Germans then they will have to match the lease costs pound for pound.
I wait with baited breath.
