BMW M badges on bog standard two litre diesels.
Mine has M badges from the factory (Its an M-Sport model and has them on the steering wheel for example).

I'm really sorry that this upsets you but blame BMW, not me.

Sorry, I forgot the 'Power' bit, I.e. M Power badges on a 320d.

It was a tongue in cheek comment though. smile

Is that not more you misunderstanding the differences between M Power branding/specs and actual M models?

Basically they mean different things and are actually clearly badged differently.

No? They are typically crappy thin walled, chrome cages. Banned from alot of tracks as they cause more damage than good if you go upside down
Wow. I had no idea they existed. What a bloody stupid idea!

Don't you see the harm done by dangerous modifications?
Doesn't show any of us in a good light.
Dangerous mods are already banned, the police cover that bit.

+1

If someone wants something that's NOT YOUR taste, let them get on with it and have it. Stop being such girls and bh about others.

Modding is down to personal preference and choices, you tailor your car that suits you, it shouldn't be about what the general population like to see.

And it gives those of us with more taste something to point and laugh at.

No worries.

I'm fully aware that, although my car wears M badges, it is not an M car.
It's just a prettier version of the basic model.

Nothing wrong with lowered cars on static suspension or stretched tires. It's the extreme camber which is the worst of the bunch.

Honestly some 'V-dub' show'n'shine festivals have a fantastic display of 'stanced' cars that aren't modified around speed like most car festivals are. It's not for everybody's taste but it's definitely better than the Vauxhall chav-fest at trax I witnessed this year full of de-badged corsa's with massive exhausts on their 1.2 litre petrols.

People who jump on the bandwagon to criticise those who have opted to jump on another bandwagon...

"The chaps at the marina are slagging off Jerry's son as he's stanced his Golf. Damn, I want to be cool and popular. I best slag him off too then..."

Slagging off scene has become so scene.

I dunno....I've seen stretched tyres go bang on the dyno and a tyre become un-seated (is that even a word!?) when hitting a bump in the road.

I wouldn't want to see the result of that in the fast lane of the motorway.
