930 = Good
Turbo Carrera badge = not good.
Why is the turbo carrera badge not good? It is correct.Turbo Carrera badge = not good.
It is totally correct and rare as fk!
"930 Turbo" didn't happen anywhere in the world. Turbo 911s were designated 930, so "930 Turbo" is nonsensical but essentially means "911 Turbo Turbo".
Given how crude the 930 was, turbo squared would have been too disturbing to contemplate.

This is a motoring website right? Here we have an eccentric car nut talking passionately about the cars he loves, in great detail, with great shots of great cars.

Just seeing a fleeting glance is enough to have you desperately yearning for one of these (let alone half a dozen). Always remember the circa '83 edition of CAR where they group tested a 911 Turbo, Countach, AM Vantage & Ferrari BB. Stuff of fantasy then, but now I'm thinking... time to 'invest' in some precious metal?
Mind you, the driving experience might be better in Cali than SE England!
Great video, well made and a bit different.
There is a whole world out there, and this guy, his cars and video enforce just how narrow minded we are generally.
I've been awake for an hour now, it is Saturday morning, dull, cold, wet and even worse outside, with the background drone of diesel euroboxes driving past my house.
As ever, well done for being different.
I had a 964 Turbo/965 a while back and had always wanted a turbo 911, and it had to be a turbo, for generally the same reasons as the guy in the video. My good mate, who at the time was into 'track days' kept droning on and on about how his Golf GTI would be quicker around a track than my car.
"I don't care" I said many times. "I've got a 911 Turbo and just looking at it is an event".
I'd have another one any day.

3 cars from 1977 and one from 1976.
As Seinfeld admits when asked about how many cars he has in his collection..
"Where if you looked at it you wouldn't say - Well that makes sense"
But he forgets about the 286 Turbos they handbuilt in '75 to allow the 935 to homologate it for racing.
I am waiting for him to get into his 993 GT2 purity stage.

Quite literally the beardiest of 911 beards who are generally the beardiest of all car beards, fair play but really cant see the point of owning several examples of the same car, could understand a 964, 993, 930 collection but having one from each year of the same thing, dont really understand.
