Car picked up on Tuesday, still waiting for a call from the assesor - Is this a normal timeframe?
Why'd they pick it up? The assessor came out to look at mine when it had a bump.

I wonder if you will see it again...

You shouldn't have let them take it.

Had no choice really as I couldn't drive it like that and wont have the time to work on it for a good 2-3 weeks. This plus the fact I have to do the school run etc meant I had to let them assess the damage.

The car was driveable but not roadworthy in the sense that I could use it. It possibly is an easy fix for someone with the time to source the parts and then strip and rebuild but that's not me at the moment.
