So, recently I've been toying with the idea of having the 159 wrapped.

The cost (between £1000-£1500) doesn't really bother me, we have one here that delivers quality work (I've seen his work, top notch!).

But, I obviously want to go with some sort of matte/satin look. I think the 159 would look absolutely menacing in satin black. Colleague of mine had her car done in satin purple which, quite frankly, looks great!

Any takes on this? Any experience with it? The car is also almost 8 years old now, having about 170k km (give or take 105k miles), should I look out for something? Any good reason not to go for it ('cept for the relatively high cost compared to the value of the car)?

Love to hear your experiences/opinions.

I'd be tempted to go for a respray, but have to say this looks pretty cool. How easy is it to clean without scratching?

Its up to you whatever colour you decide on, don't let the naysayers put you off matt black if that's what you want- its your car after all! If the car has had paint before expect problems when the wrap is removed- its very common for it to lift off non factory paint. Otherwise, £1000 is very cheap for a quality job, here in UK you would expect to pay 2 or 3 times that amount but maybe things are different in Belgium...

I still have to get a quote, it was about the amount the DS of a friend who admittedly didn't have the roof and pillars done (contrasting black).
I'm also planning on having some "advertisement" in it, so the price will probably be more towards £2000.
