May I suggest that you add something with a recognisable scale within the frame of your photos to show the massiveness of this engineering wink
I've no proper idea if this is a smaller than a saucer or (as I strongly suspect?) larger than a dustbin lid.
Main diameter is about 355,60mm
Big enough to swallow the entire output of an S/C AJ133 ;-) An engine that remember can fling a full fat Rangie up the road with some force!

No. It's a case of knowing we'll need three rockets for year two as one is not enough, nor is two!!!

If the rear does need a major redesign to fit three rockets, how much impact does this have on the validity of the year one running as a testbed for year two?

The only that will really change is the thrust & the weight distribution. We can mitigate the weight distribution (c of g) for year one by ballasting so the c of g is the same as year two, the actual weight may be slightly different but we can factor that in.

The aero will remain largely unchanged, so that data will be valid.

Currently waiting for some studs & seals to arrive for the HTP pump, so we've taken the opportunity to assemble the casings together & trial fit on the HTP pump test rig prior to the scheduled pump testing.

The rig uses a standard Jag supercharged V8, driving through a std road car gearbox with a mix & match of road car ratios to give the correct pump speed.

The car system is far more bespoke.
