Those are some serious hydraulic rams laying next to the nose section. Are they to be part of the car?
You could mount the anteater on the front and see how far you could go before he was ingested by the jet engine.......not far I suspect!!!
Still looking good. What are the materials of the nosecone? Carbon shell but at least 2 different materials for the milled pieces!

The milled parts are all 7075-T6 aluminium, the "bladed" sections are monolithic carbon, the "side cheeks" are a carbon inner & outer structural skin with an aluminium honeycomb core. The outer skins then have some sacrificial plies over them that can are non structural to allow for abrasion damage.
Thanks for the reply.
Looking at the picture again got me wondering (doesn't take much).
That awesome engineers flat table was what did it. When you succeed in upping the LRS to 1000mph what will happen to everything in the workshop? Have you had it made, is it on loan/hire? There has to be quite a lot of high end kit that will no longer be needed.
I am not trying to 'grab a bargain' (I would not be able to afford any of it anyway but I would rather like to see it all become part of a museum exhibit along with the car.
I think the equipment and test beds used to construct a piece of history are as important as the vehicle itself and help to tell the story in a much fuller way.

We own much of it & it will be up for sale to clear the inevitable massive overdraft that we are left with!!!!Looking at the picture again got me wondering (doesn't take much).

Air brake door actuators. Will the Jag engine also be powering the oil pump or will it be the jet? What pressure will the system run?
