Future newspaper articles will have said:
Bloodhound team break 1,000 mph target!

Driver still can't get track day insurance.

I think the delay in running in SA will be a blessing in disguise,so that everything will be completed without rushing, as that is when the little errors creep in.

It is still looking fab.

The duct I designed that takes air from the snorkel in the fin L/E strake, through the top deck, down to cool the underside of the fin attachment has arrived. This is one part of it, the rest is less interesting.

The two small outlets on the sides are to allow a little air to bleed out to keep the electronics within the fin strake cool.

Made from 3d printed carbon.

Ha. You've been caught out, we now know through, the evidence on your desk, that Bloodhound is being built entirely by 'stuff' bought from ScrewFix !! You should've hidden the catalogue !!!

I can see the headlines now: "New supersonic car has been 3D printed!". With a photo of a Makerbot spewing plastic spaghetti everywhere. hehe

More final dry build going on.

APU has been fitted to the mounting cradle it will live in whilst in the car, will go into car next week.

We've (yes myself included, it's all hands on deck) also been starting to build up the rear suspension into the subframe.

Awesome rear suspension! Had to google 3d carbon printing, awesome technology (wasted alot of time drooling what tech is about), cant wait for that to become main stream and cheap. What does the air intake weight?
