We took delivery of our first of two Supacat Fire & rescue vehicles last Friday.

This is the sort of necessary equipment that many of us would not even think about for a record attempt.

Have you had to buy them or are they on loan as part of a PR sponsorship deal because I would expect them to cost a fair bit?

Shipping everything/everybody to SA must also add up to a fair sum!

Relieved you said that...

I was worried that I might have been the only person who had the Thunderbirds theme spring into their fevered mind!

Not far of the truth, it was monthly EDM (Engineering Design Meeting) day yesterday, where we mostly spoke about the first two Nammo rocket firings which produced excellent results.

The Supacat is part of a product sponsorship deal, basically they supply it, Angloco equip it & then it's loaned to us for the duration.

As for transportation costs, how does a one way fuel, equating to (from memory) £1m take you?

Well, it looks like it's time to officially announce a big new sponsor to the project......you could say the cat is out of the bag!!!

I've known about it for months, but it's been tough keeping quiet about it.

More details will be released at the LA motor show.

Well I watched the vid. Anything to keep the sponsors happy.

Now about that fuel pump - when can we know?

I think Castrol has clearly done very well, and I'm a little surprised at how low-key Jaguar's branding is.
