19 grand, jesus, you can get something decent for that, never felt the love for the Mk4 Golf R32, always saw it as a Subaru/Evo for people who like the idea of those cars but find them a little working class, but kind of missed the point in that it didn't go or handle as well as those cars.

Wow Porsche & Beetle comparisons, not seen that before.

I like them, they have race pedigree more than most road cars. Wouldn't own one though, but I can see the appeal. Just like the Audi A1 quattro it's a limited appeal thing.
