My current car the RS4 is quoted at 414bhp

But more like 370ish bhp I think, but still plenty for UK roads

Still makes me grin driving it each morning.

Will one day have a Shelby GT500 though!

570bhp GTR
530bhp 996TT
505bhp C6 Z06
400bhp Tuscan S

Power to weight ratios all roughly equal - GTR gave the illusion of being faster due to turbo midrange and fast gear changes but I suspect the Z06 was faster in-gear. Tuscan not far off either and easily the most fun.

400bhp Ford Focus....

Good lord I remember that from back in my ford focus owning days, 400bhp seemed insane at the time for a ford focus. If I remember correctly that was a genuine M-Sport WRC body kit wasn't it? I remember being at a few Rolling Road days and having a look around it when PE were building it.

Nowadays I'm owning the most powerful car I've ever had. I doubt I'll be able to top it for some time either.

Might sound a daft question, but did 'feel' quick? Just waiting on fitting my exhaust then FMIC to my VXR to go stage 3, which could be anywhere between 290-300ish bhp. Wondering how quick it's actually going to be!

On topic - most power was my B5 S4, which was 265bhp, add a turbo back exhaust and de cat so maybe a few more ponies. It wasn't very fast though.

Highest power/weight was my Seat Ibiza Cupra, with 232bhp/ton.

My current and previous cars are pretty much similar power.

My previous car modified RS4 (B5) which pulled 497ps on the rollers on a very cold day, probably a realistic 475bhp.

Current car is a 997TT (Gen 1), which has proven to be much quicker.

For what it is worth, I was chasing a GTR this weekend and my 530bhp Z06 was identical in terms of acceleration from exiting the corner at around 50mph all the way to the end of the main straight which I was clocking around 150mph...around the rest of the track I destroyed him.

DPF delete and remap. Then the engine block cracked so I had to have the engine replaced, then I sold it hehe Painful memories.

BMW M6 V10 - 507 bhp

Low down it doesn't feel that fast with the lack of torque but once it revs it just pulls and pulls.
