A £12k Arnage? Where? If you find one for that it will need the same again spending in it.

Arnage R is considered by many as the pick of the range.

They are a real event to drive and be in...they will cost plenty to run, but buy carefully and it shouldn't depreciate too much.

I recently saw a silver Arnage with 80k on the clock for £16k. Seemed astonishing value.

I have seen the odd green label bmw engined car at that sort if figure and red labels for a few grand more but you would have to drop very lucky to buy one for that money and not have to spend plenty to bring it up to scratch.

Looks lovely with a white wrap. hehe

However, £15-18k starts to yield respectable looking examples with the 6.75 "Red Label" engine, cheaper ones tend to be the 4.4 "Green Label" that find less favour with the used market, including ones that have been given a cosmetic Red Label makeover.

Quite a transformation but it always remained classy.
Under Wheeled...No silly 35 profile tyres there, I`m guessing all the better for it too

Having read the driveline section of the buyers guide - how can the ECU programming affect camshaft wear?

That was the first thing came into my head, and I wonder how widespread the problem is.

Would love one, and they are starting to become sensible price wise!

Someone that's not easily led. Someone that can actually think for themselves. Someone that does not want any government to tell them what they should drive. I could go on, but........

Would love a arnage T or the old continental T

I am told they are better than the new ones which need the engine out to change the starter motor ??

OOOHH Dear; Those prices are getting tempting, aren't they?

Have always had an itch for one of these. Impractical for me (won't fit my garage; won't go up/down the slope of my drive without scraping/damaging something expensive underneath), but, apart from minor objections like those I'd love one.

Everything I've read or heard about an Arnage implies living with one is a bit like contemplating marriage. Don't focus on the cost of the marriage licence, it's the cost of her upkeep you should worry about..

Still fancy one though....love is blind...

I'd be interested to know if anyone has any idea of the warranty the specialists (Hanwells for instance) offer with a car
Ike this; it must be a Duesie, as one claim could potentially be for £000's.
Other than that, I'd think that if you could afford the running and servicing costs, it offers so much class compared to the equivalent S class etc...
I've got this childish thought in my mind of pulling up at some traffic lights and showing some so-called fast cars a clean pair of heels when the lights change....

Ah yes, I always fancied one of them. The days before the Continental GT footballer car was introduced.

Clarkson being a total hooligan in one in this clip. smile
