Robert Elise and LuS1fer, thanks a lot for your pieces of advice. I will check. The former owner of my Lotus just told me that ZF has a major factory near Saint-Etienne. I will contact them.

Pvapour : contact me whenever you want/can and good luck with your 7 days a week job.

Pfsv : I will try to check for the car events in June and let you know.

To everyone : a big thank you for your very kind welcome. I am member of other forums (VW Scirocco, MX-5, Lotus and two other about private pilots) but I must say that you gave me the warmest welcome of all.

Gforceq, does your question refers to the French accent mimic? If yes, I would write:
I am rrreeding zisse weeze a Franche accent

If you live in the South or SW:
I ameu reedingueu weezeu a Frencheu accenteu
Fantastic! Thanks for the much needed lesson in "real" French. Welcome!

Would be great to see!

Well, when you've seen on LO/LC, you've seen them all. But, I intend to take some pictures of mine, of course. But:
1) the weather has been a little sad;
2) the car has been stopped with iginition issues lately (but there are solved now);
3) between Christmas and New Years' Eve... well you know what it is;
4) I forgot to take pictures before.
Nevertheless, I will do that soon. Maybe tomorrow.

Will yo be at Leclerc tomorrow? As I said previoulsy, I will be there around 10, with a red baseball cap. And the LO, of course.

Hmmm... Welcome MisterH but we really need photos! Preferably with some French Custard. (From a fellow Lotus owner although not quite as cool as yours)

My boss is French, but I quite like him.... smile

All my jeans are British, Gio-Goi, they seem to fit me better than all the rest for some reason. But it does sound a bit French, does that count?

What sounds French? Writing about fashion or the name of the British brand Gio-Goi? I would say the brands' name sounds Italian. But whatever...
Here it is PistonHead. For FashionHead, please see next door.biggrin

Well, smiffy, on the Feb meeting, I will be in one of your Commonwealth country (Canada) and then in one of your old colony, the USA...

Dam shame, I would have loved to have popped over for a meet. I have friends coming for lunch so I'll be cooking most of the morning. Remind me next month and I will be there.

Too bad. As I wrote to smiffy, I won't be there in Feb. But the meeting will be held, as every first Sunday of the month.

Welcome Herve. I would really like to see your lotus. Let us know if you will be at the Sunday meet in March.

I should have my Fiat coupe track prepaired by then but still street legal. It will be a nice drive from the Charente.
