An interesting anecdote - when George Milligan purchased the SSK for £400 it was from a vendor in Brighton. George caught the train down from Norfolk where he lived and the vendor not being able to be there left the car parked outside with instruction for G M to put the money through the letterbox!
DeSoto Custom Series S-11C Taxicab.
Entrance hall main display.
1911 Peerless 45-HP Model 32 11-Litre Raceabout.
In 1911 the Peerless cost six thousand dollars, the same price as twelve new T-Fords!
I spotted a rare Peerless GT at the Spa Six Hours meet:
1903 Spyker 60-HP Four-Wheel Drive Racing Car. First six cylinder car!
1926 Mercedes-Benz K Torpedo Transformable Saoutchik, with its huge 6.2-litre, 110 hp engine, could produce 160 hp with the compressor engaged and was one of the fastest touring cars of its time.
More: pre-wars and Bugattis.
Talbot Lago - T150 SS 'Teardrop' Coupe Figoni & Falaschi.
Yum coupe. Forgot what this was. Suggestions?
1948 Talbot Lago T26 Grand Sport Coupe Saoutchik.
1932 Bugatti Type 50T Coach Profilée.
Jean Bugatti, son of Ettore, was only 23 when he penned down this piece of art.
1927 Bugatti Type 44 Bergeon & Descoins faux Cabriolet: 3 litre straight 8 in this 'phoney' convertible.
Next: stuff with wooden wheels.
This is an interesting thing:
1913 Thames 48-HP Motor Stage Coach. And yes, the huge red thing in the back is an Ahrends Fox.
This beastie strongly resembles a stagecoach, but in this case that was intentional.
From the Louwman description: "The coaches were used at the time to carry people to and from the horse races at Ascot and Epsom, all within a 160 km radius of London. It seats nine passengers inside, and sixteen on the roof.
The bodywork of this stagecoach was constructed by Thrupp & Maberly, a company that would later build coachwork for luxurious cars such as the Rolls-Royce and Mercedes-Benz."
That's it - go check the museum and enjoy Holland

They acquired the wonderful old Rosso Bianco collection at Aschaffenburg near Frankfurt but unfortunately most of it was sold off. It was probably the world's greatest collection of two-seater racing cars.
As Dinkel says, photography isn't easy there. The small collection of Canam cars in particular are very tightly packed and you can only get to see them from one side.
