Well done Kia for just ripping off the Audi Quattro original concept car!!
It's not a clone by any means but the choice of colour and distinctive C pillar does make comparison inevitable. Oh and the Kia designer is ex Audi....So what do we reckon price-wise if it ever appears? £30k? I certainly can't see it being any less than that.

The bit they've "copied" from the Audi was a clear rip off of the VW Corrado, anyway.

Well they recently had to reduce the 370Z to something like £27k to shift them. The high VEL is always killer and it will have the Euro Mustang to overcome too.So what do we reckon price-wise if it ever appears? £30k? I certainly can't see it being any less than that.

Have to agree it will have to undercut or at least match the 370Z to be in with a shout of selling any numbers, therefore £27.5k for the mid range would be my starting point. If they brought it down to £25k then it would be an interesting battle with the toyabaru and a number of hot hatches.
Hmm, I don't think it needs to compete on price with the GT86 (compared to which it has 50% more power) or the 370Z (compared to which you'd imagine it'll use 50% less fuel). This is all about price..considering the proc cee'd is 24k, I can't see how this will be any where under 30k..at that price, in this country it is doomed to failure..there are too many aspirational buyers in that segment that are looking for a badge..there are not enough enthusiasts to support this car for a UK release.

I suspect that is true, in which case they wont bother to release it here. That doesn't mean it won't be a success in countries where people are less snobbish, though. Varn said:
I was so excited when I first read about this car (it was shaping up to be a future purchase for me) - RWD, front engined, manual gearbox, looks good....
...then I found out it's turbocharged
The Hyundai Genesis is available with a naturally aspirated V6. It's not sold here for much the same reason that the Kia probably wont be, though. ...then I found out it's turbocharged
There will be a rival to this and the Mustang soon in the shap of a RHD Camaro.
