Having checked the fountain of knowledge that is Wikipedia, it would appear that the album title is indeed in reference to the game...

However, it's a bit before my time, so I don't know the music from it unfortunately.

Out of over 1000 albums in my iTunes, I'm amazed only these have cars (or buses) on the cover. There are several more with empty roads on, a few trains, a couple of planes, an airship and several flying saucers.
