Absolutely ... Classic cruiser for the seduction scenes ....
But when it comes to car chases ... Imagine. If he managed to get inside a shopping arcade .. Racing a mono around its walkways ... Being chased by ninjas on quad bikes ....
Mono revving and snarling as he slides it around corners...
I always wanted to drive my atom around a shopping centre .... Would be hilarious

Tbh, that sounds like the worst of the Roger Moore OTT era - you might as well have a. Pigeon doing a 'comedy' double take and a tramp looking twice at his wine bottle before pouring it away...Absolutely ... Classic cruiser for the seduction scenes ....

Not my taste for Bond at all! Much prefer the understated Cold War thriller Bond to the nonsensical stuff.

The Bond you are talking about I loved when I was 10 and it was the end of the 70's and early 80's, but as soon as Bourne came out it all felt very dated, don't get me wrong I love the new Craig Bond films, but I really do think subtle and dark is the way it needs to stay for a while, and what you are describing sound like Carry On Bond!! 
... Must admit I'd never heard of the ... Mono... before this ... thread ...either, if it ever ... did appear... in a ... Bond film I'd assume ... it'd be in a little action sequence where he steals it for some completely bizarre reason, like Brosnan did with the ice speed record car a few films ago. Bond has moved on from those gadgets though, there's no way the post Casino Royale Bond would drive something as garish as that.
