I don't like yellow sports cars personally but I'm glad that there are people who do, because it makes a welcome change from the monochrome ubiquity. olly755 said:
Couldn't agree more and I've never owned one; that looks a great example. The more I think about it, the closer I get to distilling my perfect-and-sort-of-attainable garage. The 993 would be in there along with a Caterham, Range Rover and of course, the M5. I'd then probably need a classic and a Ducati 748. Job jobbed. At least this week anyway
This looks like a car that would be completely engaging to drive.

Imagine keeping it on the boil and sliding around on those skinny tyres via the delicate wheel, before unleashing all 80bhp along the next straight.
Intoxicating, or so I like to imagine.
Bonkers. I would be slightly concerned at the short daily commute it is getting though.
On a Porsche note; Boxster is going back on the road tomorrow. Not used it for over a month!
On an Audi note; we're running a new A6 3.0tdi Quattro Avant. That is all the Audi you will ever need. Bonkers grunt, bonkers economy.

I was considering selling our Boxster for a similar reason. We went to the Elan valley in Wales last bank holiday weekend and after 3 days of gorgeous scenery, fantastic roads and spirited driving (mixed in with some kind comments on the car) I totally fell back in love with it. The wail of the flat six through the sports exhaust, the tight controlled handling and sublime balance all mixed in with a very compliant ride for a sports car (makes our cooper seem like a joke) made the whole driving experience very enjoyable - add in the balmy weather we had and the roof down driving and I cant think of many better ways to spend a weekend. Long live the Boxster!!On a Porsche note; Boxster is going back on the road tomorrow. Not used it for over a month!
