That shape has improved with age. When it first came out I hated it but now it's really grown on me

What great bank holiday weekend weather we've had; a couple of early morning blasts were obligatory. 1 month of ownership and the odometer is already up about 1200 miles - loving the honeymoon period. biggrin

And I'm loving the seats, they make such a difference while also allowing a little'un to clamber in the back.
enjoying it then?

got to admit, if I were to spend any money on mine I'd get a pair of those seats.

More useful for you than petrol, presumably.

Actually, next spend is on a new battery and an MOT for later this month.

Stay tuned, it may get out of the garage before the end of the summer.

Sleep Envy, it's not going to be a barn find just because one day when you've forgotten you have it your open your garage door...

Anyway, to each their own.

I had a present request from my younger brother for his 2 yr old.

They do look pretty cool. Dread to think how much though.

hehe

It's not for the lack of trying to use it, I simply don't have the time or when I do it's not the right opportunity e.g. I had to go to Salisbury on Sunday but had two passengers...

Whilst probably not as much fun, a more affordable option might be one of these from GRE Classics. smile

I saw them at Beaulieu yesterday and was impressed by both the product and the passion of the team behind them. They can be customised to your exact spec. since all are hand made. cool

Very smart Jeremy although two things: lack of mechanical fixing on build plate and a touch over budget.

Yes, I did muse that this was the 'budget' option.

Indeed. Holes for fixings, but held on with glue. Get some rivets on there!!

I think it's the only one! It was a custom order from new, recovering the fabric seats in the champagne leather; rather than an actual Toyota option. The first owner just went all out (it was a big birthday present), so it has quite a few bits - TTE spoiler, TTE style bar, TTE exhausts, Toyota GB bodykit, hard top, etc.

When I saw it advertised, I thought it was the chance to own something quite rare. It wasn't in the best condition, but I plan to change that if it does well, and nothing goes wrong. My plan is after 1 year, I'll refurb the wheels. After 2 years, I'll respray the front end (and smooth it off at the same time, just like my old Z4M). After 3 years, not sure...

Optimistic or is it a simple case of supply and demand with these? Struggling to see the value.
