Honestly, doing my bike test was the best thing I ever did. Adding a bike to the fleet has opened up a whole new world for me (not least making the commute a helluva lot easier).

In short: I frikkin love it.

the older I get, the more eccentric my tastes.
I like it for its utter 'fk off' statement biggrin

I know my car loving pals would retch at it. Which makes me like it even more.

Then again I once thought that owning a gold Lexus was a good enough idea to write a cheque out.

Is that the 230bhp one? If so, that is what got me looking in the first place. I see they do 180bhp R1 but my brother mentioned a tweaked factory version with 230 donks. Such fun. evil
That's the 190bhp crossplane R1 above. The new 2015 model is rumoured to have 230bhp in its most potent spec. So that'll be approximately 1277bhp/tonne.

Which is certainly enough to nip to the shops in. And all for an entry fee of approx £13k.

Hard to see the value in expensive 'fast' cars...
Just imagine how fast you could square a tyre off with one of those!

Ive called all the local dealers and they haven't heard anything official from Yamaha but expect it to be launch at the Milan show.

Got my name down with them for the 230 version if it actually happens.

I saw a Mondeo Mk1 Harlequin yesterday - seems to be a few of the limited editions creeping in as the owner profile changes

This is somewhat cheeky after not having contributed to this thread for some time, but I'd be really grateful if someone could tell me whether there'd be anything to worry about about a car with the VRN H682 BGF.

Many thanks in anticipation.
