I think that GTO is the Alligretti one that Joe had a few years ago.

It's the one in the PH story that pops up in the banner of pointlessness at the bottom of the page every now and then.

Not sure you'd get a warranty on an old B3 but the 3.4 Alpina engine needs a headgasket every 70-80k miles.

Did a quote for a BMW warranty on an E46 M3 - came in at £3k. Ouch. They've got none listed as AUC now, so assume they've ditched them totally.

Will do. If I can find one locally, I'm going to find an SMG car to try. Been a while since I last drove one, and the auto mode would be handy. But only if it's better than I remember...
