Just after I bought my GT3 I had seatbelts installed in the rear to allow my daughter to come along in the back. I have verified today that a rear facing seat also fits back there, so my 'toy' is justified on the basis that the whole family can come along (sedately!). biggrin

Which car seat is that behind the driver?

Have we all mentioned the fact that the GTO 'only' sold for £23mill, and a Mclaren F1 didn't reach it's reserve? Pop goes the bubble? Or just things calming down?
As an aside, anyone on Blatters.com? Interesting site idea smile

It seems like an opportunity missed when you can order your 316d in SE, Sport or M Sport guises, but there's no stealth option for the M3/M5.

I imagine there must be thousands upon thousands of old boys out there whose wives won't let them order anything 'too racy, dear', where something like an M3 SE would fit the bill perfectly.

Or even just normal folk who require under the radar Millennium Falcon performance.

Surely not too much to ask?

Perhaps that's where Alpina now neatly slots?
I think so, but even then I'd like to knock a couple of inches off the size of their alloys, delete the badging and branding on the aero.

Hartge had the right idea, before it went for the gopping wheel vinyl combo.

Yes smile

Might be internet bullst but I remember reading that Alpina are meant to keep the performance slightly below the M cars in terms of headline figures but they are pretty close now and a lot more discreet if you don't pick all the stickers

Would be surprised if this didn't surpass its estimate.

Heresy it may be, but there's a Zagato there I'd much rather have. Rarer and cheaper too.

Just watched Le Mans for the first time, think I have a new favorite film!

What is the Ferrari in it? Originally thought it was a 330P4 but no!

Yep, google agree's! Oddly they look much different when photographed with modern cameras in high res.

I rather like it. About to begin fettling, wondering whether it is rare/interesting enough that I would damage it by fitting a 6.0 engine, later box and vastly nicer interior.

Would make it a nicer car I suspect, but may take away some of the charm.
