I loved my old 106 XSi:

It was the 1.6, on ITBs, putting out 122bhp. Little rocket, that thing. I never had an issue with my Size 12's in the pedal box either.

Am I the only person who prefers cloth seats to leather? Apart from vegans I guess

I prefer cloth unless the leather is really soft old cracked leather, for some reason that seems nice.

I prefer the last volume.
So track days. Who likes what? Combe is very enjoyable, silverstone club circuit less so. I fancy Cadwell next.
I am not sure why (since they seem so similar) but I prefer Goodwood to Combe. If you like the latter, it's guaranteed you will like the former. I haven't tried Cadwell but I hope to this year. Donnington and Oulton are great.

Snetterton and Bedford I would call similar. Long, flat circuits which I think don't suit road cars that well - big, heavy braking zones and a lot of tight corners make road cars feel out of their depth. Still great for light and/or track biased stuff.

Brands Hatch GP looks like the daddy, though. I also hope to try that this year. smile

I drove one regularly a few years back, and it was genuinely eye widening to drive, and it's published power and performance figures are on the conservative side, one balmy summers evening we found out that it would pull an indicated 195 leptons on an uphill section of the M62 and was still accelerating!

This colour/interior/wheel colour combo on paper sounds horrific, but in the flesh it looks gorgeous....

That gearbox though; it would have to be a manual for me. Timeless shape, just gets better as the years go by.
