Can recommend these guys too, who have been around forever.

Wishy washy website, but as is usually the case, the effort goes into the products and not the presentation.

I had a meeting at Bentley a few weeks ago which included a wander around the factory. Very little is hand done these days in car production (and Bentley is no exception), but it was lovely to see the steering wheels being assembled and hand stitched together with needles and threads, all done by craftsmen and not CAD programs.

And for the new / inexperienced dads amongst us - babies are sick in cars. They vomit. It goes everywhere. It's generally milky.

Anybody fancy a Thread get together at the showroom here for Saturday 11th October? Teas, coffees, croissants etc all provided courtesy of young Loon plus a free (no obligation wink ) perusal of the showroom and workshop facilities afterwards if wanted.

I will also be offering a prize draw in aid of Little Havens Children's Hospice to win a sports car for a weekend too driving

Planning on getting a couple of rare exotica along and will try and arrange some passenger drives too if the weather is good! Will be great to catch up with some old faces and meet some new ones too.......so who's up for it? biggrin

Loon, I had a E61 M5 for 2 yrs and 17,000 miles. Would still have it, had it not been stollen. The best car ever made for the slightly unhinged of mind. Recently replaced by a 996.1 GT3 Club Sport Manthey K400, but still missed...

I've seen minicabs with PVC seat covers that are better fitted than that.

What a great idea. I'll have a word with mrs rejn - if so, we'll bring our milky-vomit-spewing progeny. I've not ever been to a PH get-together, so if you're all a bit wierd then we'll arrive, have a quick coffee and leave quietly... wink

edited to add - what's the etiquette on these things - should we turn up with T-shirts with our usernames on, so I know who to avoid and who to talk to?!!
