If it is the same as a 540i then an E36 M3 Evo diff will fit with an E39 M5 cover, and a little bit of massaging.
You can do this apparently.
Just fitted new shocks and it's like a new car. Pipes next...

Good skillz on the box Loon.

On a different note I wish to register my interest in joining the queue for those who care to assassinate whover fked up Lancia. My "stead" until Weds out here is some contraption called an Ypsillon. I demand the right of reply to whoever conceived this device and wish my reply to be viscerally physical. I truely hope all the old school Elephant boys have retired because I don't think they could stand what is now being produced. At some point you just know some marketing tt is going to try and put the letters HF on one of these things...

This morning, completely unprompted, Mrs G announced she was thinking of taking the baby off to see some girl friends on Sat 11th... Would I mind spending the morning by myself?

whistle

No darling - that'll be fine.

See you there!

Spookily, my wife has similarly just announced that she has booked herself in for a post-Birthday spa day, so I may be spending the morning by myself too. Great choice of date Loon!
