I wonder what goes through the minds of the designers when they've completely nailed it and then get asked to give it a face-lift?...
Anyone would think they weren't designed in tandem at the outset of production.

I did not know that this was how it (sometimes) worked.
I always thought they sought to prolong the life of the main structure mid-cycle by tacking on/in any easy bits that would bring the look more in line with the prevailing trend.
Who knew it was actually planned? crafty farkers.

Well was at a funeral today and stretched the funf's legs (what a thing that is) and in the crematorium car park was one of these, in this livery.....

And then followed one of these down the A12.......

And £200k is strong but not ridiculous for a GTA now.

Despite having accidentally acquired a Passat, I had a great run out in the M5 today. I might have to clear a space in the garage, I think.

Having driven four different cars this week, it has the most comfortable seats by far. And that matters.

Did you buy an E60 or is an H&M car? Massively jealous either way. I WILL have one.... Soon...

I thought you'd sold it?

But yes, assuming you mean e28, probably the most comfortable seats I've ever had the pleasure to cover long distances in.

So did I, but turned out to be a time wasting <insert expletive here>.

If they were also heated....... In fact, did E28s ever come with heated seats? Guess it must have been an option somewhere.

A spot of googling suggests heated seats were an option. But I don't think I've ever seen them in an e28 or e24 for that matter.

Sorry to hear about the time waster. What's the plan? Try again or hang on to it for a while longer?

Indeed. Two E28s, for less than half the price.
