They should be set at ten-past-ten, like every watch advertised, ever.

Thats really nice, and quite highly modded.

Recently I've been thinking that I don't use my Alfa enough, and am half tempted to swap to something a bit more modern and useable, but seeing things like these Petrolicious vids makes me want to keep it. As an aside I don't know what step front prices are doing at the moment (Loon?), but they've certainly increased since I bought it 5 years ago - though not enough to offset my spend on it so far.

It is a beautiful, beautiful thing and the noise is just divine too.

I'd hang on to the Alfa if I was you, values are continuing to rise steadily and I can see they have a little way to go yet. Not many (any?) moderns will get under your skin and appeal in the same way as the little Alfa does.

(On an unrelated note)

Coming up at auction next week is this;

I think what you're saying is that you need to book a track day at Donington? biggrin

For me they're one of the most useable classics out there - get a pro to put Dinitrol in the right places underneath and get driving. smile

Fully forged engine on Weber 48 DCOE's smile Should be pushing about 230bhp, I reckon.

Jesus, what a fantastic looking engine bay, especially compared to the standard arrangement!

I’ve just had a rather exciting trip that involved going most of the way around half a roundabout before encountering a large diesel spillage and then taking the car on something of a tangential yee-haw over the kerb along the pavement and then back onto the road. It was not in a residential area so no pedestrians but it was on a NSL dual carriage-way so I was not going particularly slowly.
Luckily I was in the Golf with huge sidewalls so it just seemed to shrug it off but any car on low-profiles or heaven forbid a bike, the consequences could have been catastrophic.

I don’t know what the punishment is for spilling diesel but it should be up there with any other ‘crime’ that has the potential to cause serious injury or death.

Diesel spilling wkers.

It is very cool and I like the fact it is lhd. I would Monaco register if it was mine.

smile Monaco plates always look good. Despite the actual place being a dump. San Remo so much cooler.

Surely shome mishtake?

140-160k. For a butchered 'vette that wouldn't fool Stevie Wonder.
