An MX5 might be the right option, as I can potter around in it for a few months then pop it in the garage when we buy a new house next year and then get a "sensible" car to go with it.Doing it the other way round, i.e. barge now, mx5 after the house purchase, may well mean that the fun garage car never gets bought.
