I kept it until 2006; had a chance to buy in back in around 2012 which I didn't take and I've regretted it ever since. Cracking little car.

My girlfriend at the time sulked all the way to Bell & Colvill to pick up the car in '99 - I think it was on that journey that I realised that she definitely wasn't the one - my relationship with the car lasted about 6 years longer than my relationship with her!!

Sufficed to say, but the currently ill Mrs rejn is a big fan of Elises!!

Saw one of these in that mustard yellow colour yesterday, it looked so good amongst the humdrum cars on a grey day in town. They're starting to look every inch the classic now aren't they?

Saying about roadsters/blasts from the past I was in Brighton yesterday and there was a fantastic Barchetta (I used to sell them new) rasping its way about the seafront.

Looked super and sounded rather fruity too.



Always thought it a shame they didn't make the coupe version too;
