Got any pics? Are you giving any thought to using wheelspacers to fill the arches a bit? I think that is usually the problem is using smaller diameter wheels - it's not the diameter that's the problem, but the offset. My assumption is that manufacturers intentionally make the small wheels look a bit weedy to enourage buyers to spec the larger wheels.There is a 986 Boxster near me on the standard 16 inch wheels that is a case in point - the 17 inch wheels look so much better, but only because the 16s are sitting so far inside the arches, E-type style.

Looks good. Will look really good with a lower ride height. Are they factory Cayman wheels? I've seen a similar style on late 997 Targas but not Box/Cayman.For comparison the weedy little 16s on a Boxster. I think they would look fine with some spacers and slightly lower ride height.
