Been looking at that this morning. It even has my initials on the reg.

Downsides: bonnet fits like st. Electrics totally borked.

It's a plastic Renault.

I know those Azevs are popular but the standard wheels look miles better.

No. It says the majority of the electrics actually work. That's good.

Bonnet just needs some adjusting.
Bet you it's totally fked.

I'll probably buy it anyway.

Why am I even searching for one of these?

fking hell, I couldn't consider that car for more than a few seconds. The tt giving the car a name and referring to it as 'she' means I can't even read the advert; from memory shouldn't a '91 car be on turbines; two-tone interior is also a no-no for me (I've lived with a two-tone for over 4 years now, I can't do it again. hehe ).

Or to quote GP succinctly, "NO."

When are you going to see it, Olly?
There's lots of things it should have, but doesn't. It should be on Turbines, yes, given that it's a 3.6. Throwing stars only arrived with the 5spd 3.8 cars. The gash exhaust is also unforgivable (and given that a new system used to be £1200 a few years back, it sorts the wheat from the chaff in terms of willingness to properly maintain). Finally, two-tone leather was never even an option. That car has had its standard fabric base and back-rest re-trimmed in what looks like an attempt at silver leather, but just looks st.

It's also done 150k miles and will I suspect need some attention in the engine room. Providing the tin-worm hasn't got a hold, in which case, the donkey is a moot point.

So yeah, I think Olly should buy it. No need to even see it. Just give the guy the asking over the phone.

S38B36 head and block where an M88/3 should be.

That's what I thought. The advert refers to a "handbuilt engine" but states 286bhp. I wonder if they know...

Vendor is adamant that it's how it left the factory. And has had offers at £18k already apparently.

On bigcoupe that M635CSi is affectionally known as "the one with the 'wrong' engine."

Think it's been for sale for a while at various different vendors

I know GFW is adored by many, but those photos are really really poor. Not his best work by a long shot.

It also has the 'wrong' interior, and you're quite right, it has been for sale for about 18 months now. I think it's passed through various Traders hands, all of whom have added to the price, but now it's renowned for it's high level of 'wrongness' and the price is beyond what its value is.

Why has the £18k not been accepted?
