Can't believe the low power output of that 208... 155bhp.

Okay it's only a 2.0 and the a/c 'only' needs a re-gas (obvs) but I do want this.....

What's going on with the wood/knobs/stereo in that interior?

Did you see R129SL's purchase in the barge thread - http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Thread gone quiet. Let's start off 2015 with an E34 M5 Touring. Not the world's best example or indeed advert... just because.

Fitting Throwing Star covers correctly should be part of the MENSA application.

This car was briefly for sale earlier this year after pressure from the war dept. At that point I was going through the motions to avoid a full blown conflict but now I realise I should sell the car.
She won the argument, so it is indeed for sale - at a commensurately prohibitive price that ensures he'll keep it.

"Sorry love, market's dead for these at the minute..."

So I followed this rather lovely 500E up towards Bourton-on-the-Water over Xmas (I say followed, it was following me until it schnelled past in an interesting overtaking manoeuvre and it took a while for me to catch it again in traffic).

Not sure about the plates (same as per photo) but was a great example and clearly being enjoyed as designed smile

Anyone's on here?

I've started fancying XJS's over the holidays. Maybe it's my age.

One for everyday.

And one for the garage.

I think you'll find they would both spend most of their time in the garage.

Awaiting rectification. hehe

I know putting big wheels on an XJS is punishable by death, but I really liked the pic of the one on 17" BMW Style 5s.

Former acquaintance of mine bought a very ropey V12 XJ-S from the car auction by Wandsworth Bridge with the intention of returning to Germany to find some girl he'd met - cooling system exploded at V-max on the Autobahn leading him to end up in the bushes in it. Not sure if it lived again.

Would like an Eventer though.
