I've started fancying XJS's over the holidays. Maybe it's my age.
One for everyday.
And one for the garage.
Y'see for about the same cost as those two I'd rather take a chance on this beautyOne for everyday.
And one for the garage.

Popped up a couple of times, some discussion on whether it is Rover or Xantia used to fabricate the hatch.
Well done though, for a home build.
Doesn't look shoddy at all, and £2800 seemed well worth it for the novelty factor alone.Well done though, for a home build.

Time will tell. It's turned into a slightly bigger job than I expected, but mainly because it deserves better than a quick fix.
Structurally spot on, same mechanically, it is only on 43k. Cosmetics, trim and interior are the tasks.
So the bits that are bespoke...
Loving it.
With petrol prices dropping there is no excuse for not owning a petrol guzzling barge.
This one guzzles with the best - ultimate bargain winter Qcar barge?

According to Autotrader it is less than a mile from where I live.
So tempted to go and have a look, but I get annoyed with 20mpg on my shortish commute in my E92 325i coupe.

Happy new year everyone!
That Passat is a great looking winter barge. I reckon a cheap wheel from a breakers yard and a can of black gloss paint would be the quick solution to the nasty wood! I see that even the back doors didn't escape untarnished (unvarnished?!).
Although if it were my £3k, I might be tempted with another RR Classic!
