Hi guys

I bought a mk2 mx5 last year and it's now in the garage having a bit of a winter overhaul.

I whipped the air box off to change the filter, and found a nice upgraded pipercross panel in there. Wondered why the car felt like it had +200 bhp. hehe

Anyway, rather than throw in the cheapo paper filter I bought, I thought I'd clean this one. Having never had an upgraded filter before, what do I clean it with? Can I just wash it in water and ensure it's totally dry, or do I need to use something specific?

I know the K&N ones used to have special cleaner for filters, - not sure if yours does or not. Maybe have a look on the web or look at the manufacturers web site ?

Put the paper one in, sell the one which doesn't filter as well on Ebay.
