I love little retro boxes like this.

£999 is a bit steep though. It's not a million miles away from the MK1.5 Suzuki Swift I ran around in a few years back. Immaculate condition, everything working. Bought it for £450, put around 8k on it, sold it in better condition to a breaker for £200 as for the month it was for sale, no one wanted it at the £400 I was asking for it with 6 months MOT and Tax...

The Jazz will be much the same... If you're going to buy it, expect to keep it for a LONG time and look after it, or sell it for a few hundred quid when you get bored.

Me too - sorely tempted by this although it is patently rubbish!

Just noticed it doesn't even have MOT. Defo not worth anywhere near £999.

It's scrap value + a hundred or two for retro coolness at best without MOT on it.

It's hideous. The only possible appeal is the fact that it's rare, and I doubt many would lust over something like an Austin Montego!

It's hideous, and has an obvious water leak on the sunroof.

Not the best looking thing, ok wee car for buzzing around town.

Rather have a Cinquecento Sporting for that though i think.

Equally crap but less ugly.

Agree and that's what makes it so uber cool (not so much the water leak though). biggrin

Would make a good museum buy I'd have thought, a nice curio somewhere.

I wasn't sure if it was silicone sealant or guano, but at least the vendor didn't try to hide it, and also seems to be showing the damage water ingress may have caused the sun visor, or is that just age?

The two box shape reminds me of the Citroën AX, but that would have been after. The little AX seems to have been better executed, I am not sure if that's French chic, Citroën design and/or the Jazz seeming to have all the styling and features of a larger car but shrunken to fit.

Ah my mistake. Read the advert as "...Next MOT due..."

Still, not worth 1k and I doubt it will sell for anywhere near that. It's rare but its not desirable.

Would be interested if:

It didn't have a sunroof...
It could fit an EP3 engine in....
