You BOUGHT a car and RENT a house. I can't take you seriously.
What's wrong with that? Back on topic I saw an old bloke today out in a Westfield or Seven with the roof up enjoying the dry-ish roads .Made me smile .

Quite. I had Vladimir down as one of the "waffling goons" as he puts it in his post.I can't make up my mind if he is a troll (although admittedly quite subtle), a hypocrite, or just not the full shilling.
Oh, and by the way, I agree with the OP, just not too sure about its sincerity.
oops, meant they have all been replaced by M135i drivers. I'll hand in my card on the way out. Silly.
For the 30k or so that car cost you vlad you could have had a couple of very nice cars. One sensible and one mad instead of taking the compromise. (ETA or the depreciation cliff)

The problem is the amount of diesel drivers on this site now. Especially the ones who don't even own their cars.
We can still love cars while not owning our dream car. I do love cars & I love driving, but cars are just machines or tools and life is too short to sacrifice doing stuff for the sake of having a bit of metal on the drive.

Booom, there is the point, No MX5, No TVR and buys the BMW fast/value option du jour and then slags off the rest of the faithful, come on mate, I know you are a petrolhead but you are on shaky ground slagging the rest.Apart from a couple of quick-ish golfs I see nothing that PH in the OP's car choices for the money that screams 'this is what I love'. A 335d and then an M135i, sounds like someone is swallowing the hype hook line and sinker.

Wow a Vladimir thread that has M135i, VW California and finance all mentioned in it... who of thought of it LOL Brucie bonus for someone getting in 335d
Joking aside I do agree with the OP and I do dislike its almost de rigeur to put in a hate filled reply to anything new or different. You only have to look in the Golf R or Polo R threads recently to see that trend very obviously. Its not everyone but its enough.

You forgot winter tyres too. He buys non premium tyres, claims they are then moans about them being awful and that he can't keep his 335d is a straight line. Must be a beast! Moans a lot more then complains to the manufacturer before realising that there may actually be a issue with his car! All this was done to a car he was selling on in a months time anyway for his shiny new M135i. Not sure if he mentioned that bit yet. As for real enthusiasts, there are quite a lot of us around, you may just need to look a bit more deeply. We don't all shout about what we own telling anyone that may listen. I spend more of my time in the marque specific sections. Friendly, light hearted banter, huge knowledge and a shared love makes it a happy place to be. General Gassing is good for what it is but can easily get quite bhy, but then again I've just joined in
