Looking to replace my current car and leasing appeals.

Anyone know of any lease co that will :
1) Take my current car as trade in
2) Deduct deposit and release remaining equity in cash ?

I can't say I've ever seen that, don't think it's likely you'll find anywhere - they're finance houses really not car dealers.

Kia offered to do so for my uncle just yesterday.

Maybe more common if you are leasing through a dealer rather than internet/phone

I lease a Citroen C1 directly from Citroen. The dealer offered me PX value for my old Focus and to put it against the deposit for the lease.

If your talking contact hire it is usual to do it as two separate transactions,

Purchase px and lease new car to you.
Speak to your lease co they may put you in touch with the suppling dealer.

You won't get a particularly good deal on the px though.

This - exactly. We do this regularly for customers - if you're getting a bit of a 'deal' on the new car then don't expect anything amazing with regard to your current car's value. This will be viewed as a separate transaction from the lease deal. The likelihood is that the dealer will just pay you what the vehicle's worth - your initial rental on the lease will probably be taken by direct debit (depending on the finance company concerned.)

Thanks all. Might try a few dealers direct, see what they can do.
