Best small automatic car?
Discussion
My 87yr old Granny needs a new car after her Corsa expired.
I've told her to surrender her licence but she's good for her age and is still capable.
Budget is £7000 -£8000 and good visibility, ease of access, good spec.,remote c/locking, p/a/s, 5 doors and a decent engine and auto box combination.
Value for money is a factor and Japanese or Korean manufacturers are definite possibilities, any advice gratefully received

Jazz - but that price range (without looking it up) probably drops you into early series 2 (from 2009) cars and they have the much disliked i-shift auto. Series 1 and later series 2 cars are CVT and are very easy to drive.
A nice series one for a bit less than budget would be my choice - the CVT is great.Has she got a driveway?

Nissan Micra. My mother is also in her 80s, still drives and has a Nissan Micra. She loves it. It is very easy to drive and has a tight turning circle. I've told her to surrender her licence but she's good for her age and is still capable.
