Looks well done. Needs smaller wheels.

Truthfully I have no idea, but from the photos and description it looks like a well restored and looked after bit of kit, providing the paperwork backs up those claims I think it'd be worth a closer look and test drive.

When it comes to vehicles like this it may look good on the surface but the paperwork trail and an owner who knows his/her stuff is of paramount importance IMO.

It's bloody awesome but the wheels really spoil the look in my opinion. I've been looking for an interesting fast 2nd car and something like this is actually really tempting.

Whats with the rolled eyes? A rear engined, rear wheel drive, 500 bhp, turbo charged & supercharged 10 second Fiesta road car not impressive enough for you? rolleyes

Surely that (the car in the original link) is far too heavy for a bike engine? In my experience, naturally aspirated bike engines tend to feel out of their depth in anything weighing significantly more than half a tonne; I doubt he's got it anywhere near that light?

Mk1 fiesta isnt exactly heavy as standard, minus the iron engine and the steel bonnet/boot and all the interior trim it probably isnt far off that 500kg you mentioned.
I think I would have to fit one of those electric reverse gears though.

I guess it's possible. I thought they were ~700kg as standard? I doubt the drive-train mods will have saved more than ~50kg (the engine and box will obviously be a chunk lighter, but the prop, external diff housing, etc. will add some of that back. I've no idea whether another 150kg from the other mods is possible.

It's a bit odd that the advert talks about weight waving so much, but doesn't state the actual finished weight.
