Well the Dino idea is quite interesting - Ferrari has the knowledge and technology to make the car the Alfa 4C should have been (a proper match for the Cayman) or maybe a 911/F-Type/new Mercedes GT rivaling coupe.

But a big no to that four cylinder idea of yours.
Well, I don't like the four cylinder much either, but if it looks right and goes right AND keeps the price at a level to compete with the Cayman, I'd like Fiat/Ferrari to do it, whether it wears a Ferrari or just a Dino badge. The Auto Bild concept in Skater12's pic looks good, if a little portly. I can't comment on the California as I haven't driven one. I don't like the looks, but it appears easier to live with than a 458 Italia, which I have driven. The 458's wipers are a nightmare!

Surely they're going to recycle the Dino name soon and nail it to a piece of awful?

A volume production car would seriously damage Ferrari's reputation and won't happen. A brand new Ferrari will never be sold for sub £120,000. I personally like the California's looks, and it drives very well. More power than most drivers could ever fully utilise. It's perfect for California / LA.

A nice, fast cruiser. Look forward to seeing the new harder version. Hope I get to drive it too.
