Hi Everyone!

New to the forum here so I thought I would stick up some photos of my cars.

Firstly, the Daily. Megane 225 Cup, only bad part being my commute is only 3 miles.

The Toy. Fiesta XR2i (now RS1800)

144Bhp RS1800 engine and running gear
AVO adjustable coilovers
Bolt in Roll cage
Toyo R888's for nice weather use smile

Cant wait to get the fezza out on track in the spring.

Aren't those door bars a pain in the arse?

Are they perfectly positioned to protect you from a side intrusion though? As a rule of thumb the door bar should run along your pelvis. Yours look more like an inverted main hoop brace and I doubt that they'll do a deal beyond get in your way.

I do as it used to be mine, and might also be again soon.

Its running 146Bhp on Newman PH3 cams, BMC CDA and 2" pugsport system, Gaz coilovers and 406 Brake setup.

Sparco buckets with harnesses, not much else inside at all!

Was a great little car to drive, suprised a few people.

and the bars at the front which will bend like hell as they are not attached to the bulkhead.

Many regs prevent cages from being tied in or structural in any way, so that's how a six point bolt-in will come.

1 year update,

Renault gone, E46 M3 in! Wasn't too sure on the red leather but its really grown on me. Quite happy with the SMG box as well which I know is something that can divide opinion.

A little dirty after a weekend in Wales!

Sorry to bring an old thread up mate, just wondered if you have any info on the xr2i or any advise on it? I'm looking into buying this one and recognised it from the pictures!

How does it go? Handle well? Solid shell?

Cheers
