Like many modern cars, it looks a lot better in the metal, especially with the UK "sport" grille. The interior is also a substantial improvement over the current car, and it drives very well indeed...

Not really, on the BMW is seems to flow with the dash, whereas on the Merc it looks like an afterthought.

Not sure I'd say the BMW implementation "flows". It looks better than the Merc but still looks like someone just rested a tablet on the dash. Anyway what do I care Just bagged a new current C220 AMG Sport Premium No poncey tablet in that - just good old fashioned COMAND.
