Good lord, those wheels......and is it normal for the gear selector to be at a jaunty angle in Park? Looks like a fat passenger has tried to climb across the seats after parking too close to a wall.
Gear selector looks about right to me. They all do that from what I remember.

Not sure where the 'nice car but WTF at the photo locations' thread is so thought I'd put this here.

I actually like the location getmecoat though I'll agree it's not really a 'supercar location'

i like the location the dirty/ruin down area contrasts well against the modern/clean look of the car.

Agreed. they're trying to go for that look, but its not working out cos the pics are crap.

Came across this civic type R on ebay.

- strange front bumper
- offset license plate (not sure if legal?)
- anime decal on side
- smoothed hatchback and relocated license plate (i haven't seen someone do this in a long time)
- 'eyelids' on the rear lights.
- glossy red dash
- 'VOSA warranted miles' < wtf does that even mean?

That's half a conversion. Fitted the rear moulding but not the front.

Nice sunny day to show off the car at its best and he chooses to park it in the only shaded area to take the pics wobble. Mind you, looking at the state of it that was probably his intention all along scratchchin.

& lol at the random smiley in the URL. hehe

Indeed. Just doesn't work for a car like that. Rat-look cars and other 'scene' kinda stuff, yeah + the more graffiti the better. But that kind of car needs to be shot on some nice gravel with a mansion backdrop.

Wonder how much that warning triangle was on the options list?

I might be being unkind to describe this as a horror but rarely does something go on sale that it's so difficult to find anything positive to say about it.

Listed as spares or repair because the engine does start but runs badly and smokes heavily. The 4 wheel drive does not work, when you put it in there is a loud banging noise when it moves.
The bodywork is showing it's age and it has some dents one of which is on the offside front wing where the door hinge rusted away and the door dropped creasing the wing, the hinge has now been fixed so the door opens as it should but because of the damage to the wing it does seem to be letting some water into the drivers footwell.

The passenger window does not work, the diesel gauge also does not work, the rest of the interior is complete but could do with a good clean.
It does have a towbar but the plug socket is broken.
Scrap, surely?

I'm a big fan of the MK2 ranger having driven one for nearly five years - but I just can't find anything redeeming about this one.

"Viewing advised as the pictures do make it look better than it is."
