Now I'm sure some will love this. It can't be denied a lot of work has gone into it including adding rust. I'd assume it'd not be legal on a UK road without mudguards?

Also, a lovely car ruined although again well done if you like that sort of thing. Each to their own I suppose.

I dont see a problem with either of those, both great looking machines and very interesting.
I agree, as long as people realise that they will need to be trailered to events, as neither of them are road legal.
Whilst I don't disagree, there are clearly some "friendly" MOT testers giving these a pass (perhaps with a few tweaks) and you'd have to meet an exceptionally zealous Bib and/or inspector from whatever VOSA are calling themselves this week.

that is brilliant. I want to buy it just to wind people up. is the backstory true or was it built by jezza&co, are we going to see it on the upcoming series of top gear? "TONIGHT... we build a ZONDA!. How hard can it be?"

No I would not. But I'd buy Nigel a pint.

Built as a track car? With an iron-block engine behind the rear axle?

It'll probably handle better going backwards.

the crossflow is very light for an iron block, but even so it seems a strange setup !

Part of me thinks I shouldn't be posting these in here, and they should be in the decently modified thread....

who thought kermit green would work on a Audi, it just looks wrong. A sirocco looks good but not the S3.

I think you are getting confused between a new car and a stupid colour. The car looks good because it is new, not because it is in Kermit green, which just doesn't suit the Audi lines etc. Red or blue do, but will have to see if they can shift it.

If I were in the market for an S3 I'd love that colour. Sooo much more interesting than grey, silver, black or white.
