Cayenne by Merdad - they were at the FoS a couple of years running with a stand and a show car. Looked very well done, but not sure on the market - and ridiculously priced...

Keighley Trade Center

Google for opinions.
These guys are the enemy.

I feel that I can justify saying this because I once bought a Mkiv Supra from them (many years ago before I was a somewhat savvy PHer) and experienced levels of cowboyness that boggled the mind. I've bored PH with the details before, so won't rehash the farce again here.

I pretty much won the lottery, as the car ended up being completely sound through sheer blind luck. I shudder to think what would have happened had it proved to be a 'typical' Keighley car. As stated, you won't have to do much searching for the endless horrific 'customer' write-ups.

Even back then (~2007) they had some real gems for sale. Blatantly crashed/ shoddily repaired Lamborghinis (yes, more than one) with epic panel gaps, steamed up lights and windows etc. All of the potential classic/ collector stock they had was molested beyond redemption. It was actually kind of a depressing place in a way- like a wehouse full of once-beautiful women made completely undesirable by ill-advised/ unnecessary/ botched cosmetic surgery.

'Casual' and 'can't-be-arsed' fail to capture the attitude of the rudeboys who ran the place. Any one of them could have easily been an extra in a TV drama about British youth gang culture and you wouldn't have batted an eyelid. I am not judgmental or prejudiced in any way, but I can honestly say that any sensible adult who stumbled into that place would quite rightly walk away based solely on their interaction with the staff. At the time I was very naïve (and in hindsight, very lucky).

If you are after the cheapest eg. Aston in the country at any given time, it will likely be theirs, parked up in a crumbling multi-storey in Bradford.

Their southern doppelgänger 'S H Car Sales' (based in Bedford) have many worrying parallels. A failed garden centre crammed full of extremely suspect metal, from sheds (literally in sheds) to exotics (also in sheds). Staff were equal to Keighley in their rudeboy-ness. Decided against my better judgement to make them an offer on a Supra by telephone a couple of years ago (which they agreed), given that they weren't far from me. Arrived there to be told the price was far more than previously agreed, all knowledge of said telephone call was completely denied- I can only assume that they subsequently received a better offer and couldn't be arsed to tell me before I made the journey...

Look no further than whatever-Keighley-are-called-nowadays or S H Car Sales for legit horrors in the classifieds, most of which will not be obvious from their ads.

Even if you find the cheapest UK R8/ Gallardo etc in their stock (and you probably will) I seriously doubt any saving you may make would mitigate the risk of buying from such unashamedly unscrupulous cowboys.

Would be interesting to hear from any PHers who have had positive experiences with either garage, particularly with high-end/ supercar stuff...

Apologies for an admittedly off-topic rant.
