Give me alternatives!

I currently own an MK2 Focus ST. Great car, love it.

I'm planning on selling the Focus and 'downsizing' into an estate, clearing the remaining £6k finance on the Focus. With some other monies saved and the change left over from selling the Focus, I'm hoping to have around £5-5.5k to spare to buy a car out right - Leaving me finance free!

Obviously, this being PH the estate has to be something decent!

I'm a massive Ford fan, and used to own an ST220 saloon a few years back - it was brilliant.

I've just found this ST220 Estate on the trader;

Can anyone suggest any alternatives?

Petrol
Preferably Manual
Minimum 200BHP
2005 onwards
£5-5.5k
Under 80k miles

I've considered Octavia VRS, but I don't like the pre-face lift... Also considered Subaru Legacy R Spec B, but decent ones tend to be out of my price range...

Impreza WRX Wagon? You'd get a decent one for that amount of money.

You might find one with factory fitted Prodrive Performance Pack too.

Jaguar X-Type 3.0 Estate?

Shares many parts with the ST220 but you get the advantage of AWD and it launches faster off the line

If you liked your ST how about the Volvo V50 T5

Slightly over-budget but a little haggle may see it towards budget, if not there are a few that are slightly older?
