Morning commute, come up behind an A3 with a nearly flat rear tyre..... In an effort to warn the hapless motorist of his impending doom, I endeavoured to gesture, gesticulate and convey his plight in whatever way I could.. yet he was simply bewildered and carried on regardless. In danger of looking like a road-ragey mentalist, I was finally able to inform the chap at a roundabout having leant out of the window and motioned for him to pull alongside.
So how do you convey to the occupant of another car that they have a flat / soft tyre? or do you simply not bother...

When im in the car I dont know how I would convey info, but when I'm on my motorbike I'll try and politly get the drivers attention at a safe point (traffic lights for example) and let them know. I'll do the same if someones brake lights arnt working (once I did it and the window came down and it was a car full of big, scary guys and I instantly felt like I was about to be killed...but they were cool with it, very thankful)

I'd hope someone would tell me if I had a problem, because it could save my life. So that's why I make the effort for other people

I find a polite toot and a nod followed by a point at the offending area usually does the trick. Having been on the receiving end when I had a flat it certainly got my attention.

I would be surprised if anything got the attention of the person if driving with a flat tyre didn't!

Just like the people that drive around at night with their lights off... don't get that personally...
