Tyreleader has to be the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life, I ordered and paid for three tyres on a Sunday afternoon, as I had no confirmation about the order that night, I went to back to my so called account with them only to find that the order had disappeared? strange I thought?

Trying to contact them was imposable as with out an order you cannot contact them at all? They have no telephone contact and no email address? they work on a so called order ticket system which is nothing short of dire!

No counting the fact that they seem to have problem with English? if this is done on purpose or not I don't know (the business is based in Germany)

So back to my so called order, then I noticed that the account showed three tyres were in my so called basket? Having paid for them I thought how in the hell has this happened? I left it for 24 hours and nothing happened? no email confirmation of the order, still no order showing up in my account, nothing, no money taken from my bank?

So I ordered the tyres again (they were in fact now dearer by a couple of pounds) straight away this time I had an email with in a few minuets of the order stating I had purchased them and the order showed up in my account and the basket was now empty again.

Now I had a so called order I contacted them straight away on there so called ticket system telling them of my first problem and the previous order and could they confirm I had just one order as now way did I want two orders for the same tyres? they replied and confirmed I had just one order?

The tyres turned up the following day great I thought (I had not been given any tracking details?) so that was the end of it or so I thought? (No doubt others here are saying you have to be kidding )

Yes you know what I am going to say don't you? three days later another set of tyres turned up? and then checking my bank two lots of money has been taken from my Bank account? and now all of a sudden I had two orders in my account with tyreleader?

I contacted them at least 25 times on the ticket system complaining that how on earth had this happened when they had supposedly checked and stated that I had only one order while demanding that they took the second delivery back and refund me my money on them in full

After a week of bombarding them with message after message on the ticket system and on a email address they gave me (this they said was so I could give them the payment details of the two orders? this despite giving it to them four times previously?)

They evidentially agreed yes they would accept the tyres back but would charge me £25.00 per tyre to do so? this apparently there normal fee for so called returns? which will mean I will be £75 out of pocket? no counting the hours spent trying to sort it out?

Days later I had a email from them giving me the tracking details of the two orders? six days in fact after the second order arrived at my house?

I have had no reply to my complaint of the cost of returning them or why on earth should I be responsible for the costs when it was not my fault? (Again I bombarded them with this but have had no reply?)

Currently going through my Bank to see if I can make a claim there but that's going to take a while I have been told?

My opinion of them is they are con artists, they don't answer the so tickets system if they are in the wrong, and worst of all they lie, they just don't seem to give a dam really.

Suggest you purchase your tyres from any were else but them as you stand a good chance of losing your money, no counting all the hassle you can end up with.

I cannot see them staying in business much longer as from my enquires to date they have hundreds and hundreds of complaints outstanding, some one will end up shutting them down eventually.

After this I went on ebay you can purchase tyres on there at just the same price if not cheaper plus paying with PayPal it will cover your purchase in full if you have problems. Hope this has been of some help?

You don't know of anyone who wants to buy three tyres do you, ideal for a caravan or what ever?

And yet despite all that, some will ignore the shambles that others have endured with Tyreleader and say that because their order came through without issue, there is no problem with the company. I share your frustrations desireeb, worst internet company I've had the misfortune to deal with.

Tyres arrived in 5 days, and were about £30 cheaper per tyre than the cheapest I could find in the UK. DOT marks say they were made last year. Overall very happy.

Only problem I did have were the bank flagging it up as a suspicious purchase. The company name on the invoice is a bit odd.

You might think it's a deliberate attempt at sabotage by Tyreleaders competitors but the negative experiences posted on this thread mirror my issues with them almost exactly. Keep on using them by all means but I would wager that at some point you'll get stung by them. When you do you'll realise that the stories about appalling customer service and unauthorised payments taken from your credit cards are true.

Another satisfied customer here.

Ordered rainssport 3s on Monday morning. Turned up today. 215/50/17 for £73 each.

One local place quoted me £120 plus fitting so well happy. Local garage will fit them for £20 a pair.

What an absolute shower.

My experience:

- ordered 4 Goodyear F1s on 15 Oct. Showing as in stick, "48h/72h". Got 4 DPD tracking numbers the same day. Looks good.

- 19 Oct: nothing has happened. Contact them through their ticketing system (a great way to ensure that they only have to talk to yo uwhen it suits them, and you can't open a dialogue) to ask where the tyres are. The tracking info says the carrier is waiting for the tyres.

- Pro forma response saying the tyres have been despatched (a lie) and they are very busy.

- 20 Oct: query them again. They say they will check with the carrier to find out where the tyres are and get back to me in 48 hours. The tracking says the carrier is still waiting for them. 5 mins of telephone call from me to DPD establishes that that means what it says: Tyreleader hasn't handed anything over to the carrier yet, just told the carrier to expect to receive something.

- Same day: I ask them four times to tell me where the tyres are. They ignore every request. I ask for a refund. They say no refunds because the tyres have been despatched (another lie).

- 21 Oct: I tell them again to cancel the order and refund me. Within a couple of hours the carrier's tracking info shows that it has two of my four tyres somewhere in the Netherlands.

- 23 Oct: two tyres are delivered to England. The other two aren't to be seen anywhere (carrier says it is still waiting for them), nor is a refund for those two. Tyreleader are now refusing to reply to me via the ticketing system. I've threatened to report them to the German police for fraud.

Absolutely appalling.

I've had an order not turn up. I did atleast get my money back.

Ordered from camskill arrived next day and the cost difference was negligible.

not a good review from me

I ordered some 255/40/ZR17 RFT which showed as in stock 8 days later they have arrived and its the wrong tyres they have sent 255/40ZR17 DL only.

So im now left with a set of drifting tyres they are refusing to refund as they are saying there description is correct and they cannot be held liable for any mistakes. Pile of st never using them again.

That doesn't surprise me.

Their business model is "show everything is in stock at a good price, separate the punters from their money, if there's a problem, it's the punter's problem, not ours."

If you order something they have in stock, it seems that the process can be fairly painless. If you order something that they say they have in stock, but don't, you've just walked off a cliff edge.

You'll be waiting the full 30 days for a refund mate and you'll only get it for the tyres you didn't receive.

Surely just go direct to your credit card company and get them to sort the refund..
