One especially clever feature Lamborghini is claiming as a world first in a production car is an aeronautics inspired 'Lamborghini Piattaforma Inerziale' that uses three accelerometers and three gyroscopes mounted at the car's centre of gravity to feed real-time information to the various electronic systems. Data is relayed to control systems for engine, gearbox, stability control and, where fitted, variable steering and dampers. As Reggiani is proud to point out rivals - he singles out the tech heavy 12C in particular - depend on (relatively) time consuming calculations to calibrate their systems and can only ever be reactive whereas the Huracan is constantly thinking for itself.
I mean, seriously^^^^. Do they really think they can just say stuff like that and hope no one calls "bull" (pun intended!)

For chic Sheiks, premier league footballers and the very rich. For the rest of us these things really a bit irrelevant.

I''m more impressed with sports cars that the rest of us can reasonably aspire to.
Boo hoo! Just pretend it doesn't exist and you can stop worrying about it.

That is the best looking car I have seen for a looooong time.

Holy st that is achingly stunning.

The first Lambo that has ever filled me with actual desire.

Incredible.

Looks amazing but the prices are getting steep now. This should have been £130-£140k

That's not really true.

This is the evolution of the 'entry' level Ferrari.
You missed the "cooking" 308 before the GTB came along and the GTB was initially fibreglass before changing to metal.

Lamborghini have developed gyroscopes based on horoscopes, they can predict the immediate future by 1/10th of a second which allows the cars ECU to ready the suspension for upcoming events.
Rather than react to inputs, like any other instrument ever developed, based on a complex logarithm using the ancient science of astrology, Lamborghini's instruments predict not react...basic stuff I thought you'd know that

Providing it can idle in Mayfair traffic for hours without overheating I'm sure it'll be a huge success.

A better name for this car would be 'Squalo' - shark - that's what it reminds me of from the front, and the slats over the rear window are like gills.

Ive heard it is so advanced it knows where you are going before you do!! It will even steer a better line, and brake / accelerate at optimum points around twisty roads / race tracks ....

Seriously, it looks a bit like the Esprit Prototype from a couple of years back, the wedge evolved! If only.....

It's a nice blank canvas for the multitude of upgrade variants that will be pushed out in the forthcoming decade.

If I was in a position to purchase such a car. I would have the lambo over the 458 and McLaren 12c. Lovely car.

Me too. I must own a Lambo at some point in my life. Hopefully this launch of this will push down Gallardo prices.

Just Googled the colour - yep, that's the one I'd go for too. I was going to say 'Kawasaki Green', knowing it was wrong, so I've learned something today!

But Lamborghini tailor each system to your star sign, only people with similar birthdays can expect the same road conditions, saves processing time

Not sure of everyone is looking at the same car as me? We wait 10 years for a Gallardo replacement and we get this! Sorry but a Lambo should blow your socks off, not bore you with a nice safe design that looks like a watered down mish-mash of it's previous cars. I am seeing nothing new here, it's obvious Audi have got there teeth well and truly into this and made it nice and boring. Thumbs down from me.

..... Well they are both shown as white mid-engine sports cars ... what did you expect - 6 wheels and an roof-mounted escape hatch instead of doors ?
